It seemed like forever since Mal had been back home, she had been all around, traveling with Beau and his country band, but now they were back in Canada to take a break. Sure she had some fun, what not with the song writing and having the opportunity to show off her amazing voice at some of their gigs. But there was nothing like ‘home sweet home’. She quietly climbed out of bed, giving Beau a quick kiss on his cheek and getting dressed. She figured, since he was asleep, she would get a little fresh air and maybe even hang out at the park, write some new songs. She slipped a jacket on and out the door, locking it quickly before starting to walk down the sidewalk, seeing all the familiar surroundings she use to always pass before. “Wow, I’ve really missed it here.” She mumbled, smiling when it only took her a few meer minutes to get to the park. She resided to the bench she usually sat upon and as she was reaching for the small little notebook in her jacket, she saw a somewhat familiar face entering the park. “Scarlett.” She called, standing up and waving.
